25 Years of Building Trust
It was 2001, a year of profound change and uncertainty around the world. Perhaps not the most obvious moment to start building something new. And certainly not the easiest time to start a company from scratch, in a foreign country, with the ambition of creating something that would one day set a standard in its field, But that is exactly where DMT’s story began. With a bold idea, a great deal of determination and, perhaps, a little bit of craziness.
Twenty-five years later, on 18 September, we had the chance to reveal that story in a very special way.
Our anniversary celebration brought in one place the people, partnerships, projects and memories that have shaped DMT Marine Equipment over the years, while also marking the beginning of a new chapter with the opening of our newest production hall.
Some moments are difficult to capture in just a few minutes. Twenty-five years, even more so.
But this film brings us back to that day and to what has made the journey possible in the first place: the knowledge built over time, partnerships strengthened through trust and, above all, the people behind every project, challenge and step forward.
As our CEO, Piet ter Schure, put it that day:
“We have all the quality in our own hands. To be the best in the world you also must have the best team behind you.”
And perhaps that says it best.
